Makerspace Encourages Iterative and Critical Thinking
Rumsey students and teachers made book ornaments as part of weekend activities in December. Utilizing the Dicke Family Library's Makerspace facilities, student's allowed their creativity to shine. The Makerspace encourages students to learn at a deeper level and retain more when they’re engaged in creative thinking connected to the subject. Iterative thinking, critical thinking, improvisation, all these skills come into play when tackling unique projects here at Rumsey.
A variety of favorite books were chosen for these particular designs. These ornaments are a reader's delight and will preserve their book memories for years!
